Colin Smith MBE BEH FIH Yeoman Warder hosts the Beadles Guild Dinner at The Tower of London.

Newly elected Chairman of the City of London Beadles’ Guild Colin Smith MBE hosted a glittering event at the New Armouries Banqueting Suite at HM Tower of London to honour his installation as Chairman of the Guild.

The New Armouries Banqueting Suite at the HM Tower of London was filled with wonderful music provided by members of the Salon Orchestra of the Central Band of the RAF  and Just Two flute and Harp Duo. The numerous guests enjoyed a wonderful meal provided by the Cook and the Butler catering company.

The Salon Orchestra of the Central Band of the RAF is stationed at Royal Air Force Northolt alongside the Central Band of the Royal Air Force, this independent six-piece Orchestra’s principal role is to provide musical support for Royal, State and Service engagements and is the ideal combination for receptions, luncheons and dinners where a lighter touch of tradition and pageantry is appropriate. The Beadles’ Guild Dinner at the Tower of London guests also enjoyed the music of Just Two flute and Harp Duo.  The unique sounds of the flute and harp created a relaxed atmosphere that enhanced this wonderful event without being intrusive  to conversation over dinner.

The evening comprised a champagne reception, superb four course meal with the music of the Just Two flute and Harp Duo proving atmospheric background music, followed by speeches and musical entertainment by the Salon Orchestra of the Central Band of the RAF.

The newly elected Chairman of the City of London Beadles’ Guild Colin Smith MBE BEH FIH is also a Yeoman Warder at HM Tower of London.
