Friday Night is Party Night! Nightlife Photography

Nightlife photography at Unit 17

Nightlife Photography at Unit 17, where Friday night is party night!

What a great assignment this was, nightlife photography at Unit 17 capturing the party crowd on a pre-lockdown Friday night* at one of Town’s most popular nightclubs.

Unit 17 is Ipswich’s largest and best late night bar and nightclub.  I was asked to do some exciting nightlife photography at Unit 17 to capture the late night party scene showing party goers revelling in the club experience.

The photos were to be used in the club’s social media and promotional channels.  The job went brilliantly as everyone was enjoying the buzzing Friday night atmosphere and party tracks laid down by the resident DJ’s. The party goers loved posing for the camera…. not too many camera shy people in this club!

Unit 17 is a great club for all occasions including stag, hen and birthday parties, you can even reserve a VIP booth for between 2 and 10 people as your own private area in the club with exclusive table service.

Not only is the club the best late night bar and nightclub in Ipswich, it is also the largest in Suffolk. It has been in town on the same site since 1999 when it was known as Liquid. It was renamed in 2007 to Liquid and Envy and is now known at Unit 17.

Dress to Impress ! The dress code is as simple as possible. Arrive smartly dressed in stylish, fashionable and fresh clothes and you’ll have no problems getting in, turn up in sports wear and trainers and things may be a little different.

If you are lucky enough to look younger than 18, you may be asked to prove your age in order to gain entry to the club. Remember many clubs operate a challenge 21 policy, so you should not be offended if you are asked to prove you are 18 or over and Scannet may be used to scan your ID on admission, although you are not obliged to permit the club to do so, but the management will retain the right to refuse entry. You can use a UK photo card driving licence, passport or PASS ID card, and the door staff will confiscate any false ID’s.

* Please note this event was photographed before the lockdown for Covid 19 was introduced.
