With their explosive energy and bright orange vests, members of Ipswich Jaffa running club limber up in style ahead of the Great East Run.
Well…. talk about being spontaneous on a photo-shoot….Adrianna took everyone by surprise by launching into the air with this explosive jump just as the team from the Jaffa Club running were posing for their photos as they prepared for the Great East Run.. she certainly was a lively character!
The Jaffa Club was formed as a running club back in September 1977. The name Jaffa stands for “Jogging and Fitness For All”
The club has over 100 members and meets on Mondays at the Northgate Sport Centre in Ipswich. Everyone with an interest in jogging or running is welcome to come along and join in and meet new friends, whether you are a beginner, improver or an accomplished runner.
If you are a beginner they offer a 10 week beginners course to introduce newcomers to jogging and running. It starts off with just walking and jogging on the Northgate running track and the goal is to get everyone on the course to a point where they can run for 30 minutes on the track at the end of the 10 weeks.
