Ipswich Town FC mascot “Crazee” joins thrill seeking football fans at the Cineworld 4DXTREME Challenge in the Fan Zone at Ipswich Town Football Club.
Crazee the horse swapped his normal pre-match routine at Portman Road to take up the Cineworld 4DXTREME Challenge in front of 100’s of admiring fans.
Cheered on by excited football fans, Crazee attempted the Cineworld 4DXTREME Challenge which involves being strapped into a high tech motion seat whilst balancing an oversized popcorn carton on the palm of your hand… he didn’t do very well!!
Kids, Mums, Dads and Grandparents lined up to join Crazee in the challenge with hilarious results. Each riders had to balance a carton of popcorn on the palm of their hands for as long as possible without using their other hand, while the motion seat spun the rider round and round and up and down. The times of the participants were recorded and the riders who manged to balance the carton of popcorn on the palm of their hands the longest time received Cineworld prizes.
I was asked to do the PR photography for the event, with the aim of capturing standout editorial and social media style imagery, capturing the excitement and fun of the event. The images were to be used in local and regional media and across Cineworld’s social media channels and will be going into other Cineworld’s promotional channels. The event was aimed at raising awareness of Cineworld’s 4DX proposition to clients and to make the public aware of the latest in high tech movie technology to enhance the customer experience at the cinema.
The Cineworld 4DX experience lets customers see the latest movies whilst enjoying high tech motion seats that move with the action in the movie, as well as special effects like wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water and scents!
