For general browsing of our website and the images in our online galleries, no personal information is collected. However, there may be circumstances in which you voluntarily supply such information or opt into services that require the collection and storage of personal data.

The data you supply when you sign up (opt in) for our newsletter will be used by Mark Witter Photography to keep you informed about news, events and special offers or to provide you with information or other initiatives that we think might interest you.

*Information pertaining to the delivery / processing of your orders may be passed to third parties for operational reasons or as part of our contracted services so as to complete your order, such as couriers, mail services, print labs or fulfilment houses.
We may also use your information to send you offers and news about our products and services and for business development, research, marketing, promotional purposes or press enquiries. You may opt out of such communication by contacting us, but in any event, it may be necessary for us to communicate with you for administrative or operational reasons relating to our service.

We may use the details and images of any commissioned assignment in our promotional, PR, marketing, advertising and educational materials, either in digital format, on the internet, broadcast or traditional printed formats unless specifically instructed otherwise by you, the client at the time of booking.
This website offers payment via PayPal as our payment process provider. You may pay via your PayPal account or your chosen credit or debit card through the PayPal payment gateway. Any financial information provided in the course of a PayPal transaction is confined to the PayPal online payment service. Mark Witter Photography does not have access to this information.

The information which you provide will be held securely and confidentially and is held on and processed by computers situated in the United Kingdom. All reasonable precautions are taken to prevent unauthorised access to this information. This safeguard may require you to provide additional forms of identity should you wish to obtain information or request access to any of your personal data we may hold. Should you wish to make such a request under the legislation, please do so by email or in writing, contact details are posted on the website. Please note that we may charge a non-refundable £10 or $15 administration fee for information requests which is payable in advance. This does not affect your right to opt-out, unsubscribe or be removed from our distribution lists free of charge.

*We reserve the right to communicate such personal information as we hold to third parties if instructed to do so by law. We may also share your data if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of Mark Witter Photography terms of use or copyright. In the event of business / corporate reorganisation or sale, either by an operation of law, merger or purchase of assets, your data may be subject to a different privacy policy which we will make available on the website.
