PR and Marketing Photoshoot at The Mermaid Ipswich.

 

I was invited to shoot some PR images of The Mermaid Ipswich during service in the pub, carvery and restaurant for use on the pub’s website and marketing materials.

The Mermaid Ipswich is great pub, carvery and restaurant focussed on family and food.  They also have an excellent lodge attached for overnight or longer stays to explore Ipswich and the surrounding area.

This was the first in a series of photoshoots at a number of pubs and Hotels for Marstons Brewery across East Anglia and Essex.  Many of the pubs are being refurbished and rebranded, and Martson’s required images of the newly refurbished pubs in action for their websites, PR and marketing materials. Other pubs and hotels to be photographed soon include the White Hart at Newmarket, The Spring Tide at Lowestoft, The Meadowlark at Southend-on-Sea and the Honeystone in Hunstanton.

The Mermaid Ipswich is a family friendly pub with a lodge on the same site that boasts free Wi-FI, television and en-suite bathrooms. They offer a Carvery on a daily basis , with three meats and a range of seasonal vegetables, and a bar menu packed full of British pub favourites to keep all the family happy, old and young alike. The desserts are excellent and there is an extensive range of  wines, bottled and draught beers and largers.

For those that like alfresco drinking and dining, the pub boasts a wonderful outside beer garden, perfect for relaxing and socialising on a hot day. If the weather is not so good , the bar is a great place to meet up with friends and family, and comes with a separate indoor and outdoor playarea for toddlers and those with young children.

For those that need to work any from the office or can’t live without their gadgets or keeping up with social media, the Mermaid Ipswich also offers its customers for Wi-Fi.
