Wow…. BRIT School students… You Rock !!! What a fantastic night at the Barber Surgeon’s Hall !! The brilliantly talented students from the BRIT School for performing arts and technology put on an amazing night of music, song, dance, comedy, magic and recitals to help fund their group trip to New York City. There were some tremendous individual and group performances with the teachers also getting in on the act with a seriously entertaining piano and solo vocal set.
The show was compared by Ken Tappenden MBE and was performed in front of a packed audience who enjoyed the show as well as a fish and chip supper, all of which was rounded off with an impromptu after party where the audience and performers all danced the rest of the night away.
Based in Croydon, the BRIT School is a one of its kind FREE Performing Arts and Technology School. It is an independent, state funded City College for the Technology of the Arts, dedicated to education and vocational training for the performing arts, media, art and design and the technologies that make performance possible.
