Lance Shaw, Master of the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers presents cheques to Prof Frances Corner OBE and Alastair Campbell at a recent Livery Company dinner.
The Master of the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers presented a cheque for £16,000 to Alastair Campbell, Chairman of Fundraising at the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity (and formerly Tony Blair’s Director of Communications.) The Master also presented a cheque for £16,000 to Prof Frances Corner OBE, Head of the London College of Fashion. The funds had been raised by the Cordwainer participants in the recent Blenheim Triathlon.
Frances Corner emphasised how the donation”makes a difference to the exceptional work of our students, and Alastair Campbell thanked everyone who had participated in doing “this wonderful act for us.”
